Franz Josef Radermacher is a mathematician and Professor of Informatics at Ulm University in Germany, as well as Director of the Research Institute for Applied Knowledge Processing (Forschungsinstitut für anwendungsorientierte Wissensverarbeitung).
He is a member of the Club of Rome, vice-president of the Ecosocial Forum and one of the co-founders of the Global Marshall Plan Initiative initiated by Al Gore.
He is renowned around the world as an expert in globalization, overpopulation and sustainability.
As an advocate of a worldwide “ecosocial economy”, he is campaigning for fairer global distribution of wealth and resources.
